The whole world is witnessing a rising bed bug situation which is apparently more difficult to eliminate in some regions than in others. Paralyzing and kill bed bugs, is what the chemical Pyrethroid toxins do to disrupt these nerve impulses.
Since bed bugs have evolved to be less sensitive to chemical pesticides commonly used, their neuronal pores no longer respond to their toxins, and some, are now 264 times more resistant than non-mutated bedbugs to deltametherin, for example. This has made it challenging to get a common practice on how to get rid of bed bugs.
However, since these new methods behave differently, rather than a treatment that will eliminate your home of bed bugs in a matter of minutes, it will now take days. This will allow the bed bugs to feed and lay their eggs for several days after bed bug treatment.
Researchers were able to identify sequenced genes directly related to the operation of sodium ion channels found only in the neuron toxin resistant populations of bed bugs, and the same genes in other resistant insects, but not in the un mutated bed bugs.
Despite the fact that we have so far not discovered a way to rid bed bugs with ease, there happens to be a few innate bed bug solutions which might work.
